It started with a single van and a partnership with UPS. Today, KUMO Transport is one of the main UPS partners in the Czech Republic — with a fleet of over 50 vehicles and a million shipments transported every year.
UPS enters the Czech market. From the very beginning, Jakub Kubín's father works with the company — starting a family tradition that continues to this day.
Jakub's entrepreneurial story began with his father. Mr. Kubín Sr. developed the cooperation with this multinational company until 2012, when he handed the company over to his son.

Right after school, Jakub started working for his father as a courier. In 2012, his father handed over the business with a fleet of three vans and retired.
Jakub experienced the greatest growth between 2015 and 2017, when the fleet grew from the original three vans to 30 vehicles.
Jakub Kubín joined forces with Michal Motl and together they founded KUMO Transport s.r.o. The company also expanded its operations into further regions.
The Czech National Bank approved an EU growth prospectus for KUMO Transport — an offering programme running for 10 years with a maximum nominal value of CZK 500,000,000. This opened the door to investment partners.
Today we operate a fleet of more than 50 vehicles, transport over a million shipments a year and are the first external company in the Czech Republic to manage an entire depot.
We transport more than 1,000,000 shipments a year.
